The injections of a low-grade, industrial silicone were administered by Dr. Daniel Serrano, an Argentinian, who arrived in Hollywood in 2003 and began charming celebrity A-listers such as the former Mrs. Elvis with his age-defying injections that he said worked better than Botox, according to TMZ.com. After the “miracle” treatments, some women suffered paralysis while others experienced lumps and even holes in their faces.
